Washington Personal Injury Lawyer, Jason Epstein, Speaks to Redmond, Wash. Teens About the Dangers of Distracted Driving

Jason Epstein, Seattle Car Accident and Personal Injury Lawyer and Founder of Teens Against Distracted Driving, recently spoke to teens at the Overlake School in Redmond, Wash. about the dangers of texting while driving.

Redmond, Wash. – June 7, 2010 – Seattle personal injury and car accident lawyer, Jason Epstein, recently spoke to teens at the Overlake School about his safe-driving initiative, Teens Against Distracted Driving (T.A.D.D.) T.A.D.D. is a movement promoted by Jason and other car accident lawyers from around the country who are tired of seeing our kids being killed by texting and driving, or by others texting and driving.

On May 19th, Jason Epstein, the founder of T.A.D.D. and Straight Talk Law, gave a speech at the Overlake School in Redmond, Wash. about the dangers of distracted driving.  Jason is urging teens across the country to be aware of the incredible dangers posed by texting and driving, one of the America’s fastest growing causes of auto accidents.

“I am honored that I am being asked to speak to the young people of Redmond.  I’ve made it a personal goal to spread the message that it isn’t okay to text and drive.  The statistics are stunning.  It is extremely important that our kids know that the odds of being involved in an accident, and possibly inuring or killing themselves and others, is greatly increased when drivers do not give their full attention to the road.  I hope to inspire these kids to spread the message and support TeensAgainstDistractedDriving.com,” remarked Epstein.

Through Teens Against Distracted Driving and its corresponding website, http://www.TeensAgainstDistractedDriving.com, teens can make the following pledge:

“From here on out, I pledge to completely stop texting and using my cell phone while I am driving. I understand the dangers associated with these actions and will spread the word to my family and friends to help us put an end to the dangerous habit.”

Each person who signs the pledge will receive a free T.A.D.D. awareness bracelet that they can wear to show their support for the cause.  The bracelets read “I Pldg 2 Nt Txt N Drv.”
