Top Sales and Management Expert and Author Richard Tyler To Help Promote City Of Houston Globally
Richard Tyler, of Richard Tyler International, Inc.®, will serve as a council member on the Mayor’s International Trade and Development Council – North America.
Houston, TX – February 24, 2015 – Richard Tyler, President and CEO of Richard Tyler International, Inc.®, one of the world’s top Sales Training and Management Consulting firms, has recently been asked to lend his expertise as a part of the Mayor’s International Trade and 
Developmental Council (MITDC – North America.) Under the leadership of Mayor Annise Parker, MITDC- North America’s goal is to expand the constructive dialogue between Houston’s international business community and the City government, and to jointly identify opportunities to promote the city of Houston globally – economically, educationally and in tourism. In total, 152 board members from Houston’s diverse international population have been appointed by the Mayor to make up the MITDC.
As part of the council, some of Richard Tyler’s duties will be to advise and assist the Mayor and city representatives on matters of international trade and development in North America as it pertains to regional economic developments affecting Houston businesses; to recommend mechanisms to improve communication and to enhance awareness of Houston’s international business community in North America; and to reach out to the respective business communities of member’s home countries to identify and attract business and investment opportunities for Houston.
