The Estate & Asset Protection Law Firm Founder, Victoria L Collier, Writes About The Confounding Fact That Most People Use Professionals For Everything Except Finances
Estate & Asset Protection Attorney, Victoria Collier talks about the incongruous fact that people assume they can do their own financial planning though they have no training and turn to professionals for their health, cars and just about everything else.
DECATUR, GA, January 16, 2020: Victoria L. Collier, founder of The Estate & Asset Protection Law Firm, has posted a new blog on her law firm’s website entitled “Most People Turn To Professionals For Everything Except Asset Protection.” Ms. Collier encourages readers to turn to professionals for the “goal at hand.”
Collier writes, “We go to doctors when we don’t feel well. We go to teachers when we want to learn something. If we want to play sports, we have coaches.” She continues adding, “Even at the very highest level of sports, athletes often have a team of coaches. We take our cars to people who know how to fix them. We hire general contractors to build our homes or renovate them. But, when it comes to personal finances, the majority of people do not turn to professionals for help making their money grow or for protecting it.” “For some reason,” says Collier, “the majority of people think they can do that themselves. I find this to be very confounding.”
