The Estate & Asset Protection Law Firm Founder, Victoria L Collier, Urges Those Who’ve Been Putting Off Getting Their Affairs In Order To Act Now

Estate & Asset Protection Attorney, Victoria Collier tells readers that it’s often a tragedy that motivates people to get their affairs in order and suggests that this could be the most motivating time to act.

DECATUR, GA, March 26, 2020: Victoria L. Collier, founder of The Estate & Asset Protection Law Firm, has posted a new blog on her law firm’s website entitled “Now’s The Time To Get Your Affairs In Order,” in which Ms. Collier encourages people to take action and get their estate and asset protection plans in place.

Victoria CollierCollier writes, “As the world reels in the face of the deadly and insidious Coronavirus, all anyone wants to do is to protect their loved ones and themselves.” She continues adding, “We hear the news about toilet paper and hand sanitizer flying off store shelves where the deadly virus has appeared. But,” she asks, “does anyone suggest calling an estate and asset protection attorney to make sure their affairs are in order in the absolute worst-case scenario?” She states, “I have not heard that suggestion. So, I’ll be the one to make it here and now.”

Collier is aware of how this topic may affect some people writing, “You may think it crass to bring up this topic at a time like this. But,” she adds, “take a moment and consider those who have lost their lives. Most of them have been older adults in nursing homes. But, there were deaths on a cruise ship and several of the younger medical professionals tending to those infected around the clock have also died. And, the doctor who discovered the virus also died.”

According to Collier, “Sometimes we humans simply won’t take action unless we are jolted by some tragic event. I would count the Coronavirus as one of the events that really could spur people to take care of business they’ve been putting off far too long.”
