Mr. La Placa’s past activities include managing partner of a financial consulting firm.

He also served on the Board of Directors of one of the country’s top financial services organization.  He was President of a local Chamber of Commerce and President of Friends of the Library. He was one of fifteen master instructors nationwide chosen to train and educate members in the financial services industry regarding planning and meeting their clients needs.

His interests are diverse. He is an amateur magician and musician. He plays the guitar, saxophone and drums. He collects magic books and 45 rpm records from the 50’s & 60’s.
