Social Media Medicine Expert Dr. Veronica Anderson Features Guest Blogger On Childhood Immunizations

Dr. Veronica Anderson, Founder and Host of web radio talk show, Wellness for the Real World, recently featured guest blogger Dale Peterson, MD to discuss his expertise in childhood immunizations.

New York, NY –  August 5, 2011Dr. Veronica Anderson, social media medicine expert and Host of health and wellness web radio talk show, Wellness for the REAL World, recently welcomed author Dale Peterson, MD to be a guest blogger on her popular website, http://www.DrVeronica.com.  Dr. Peterson was asked to help answer the common question, “Should my child be immunized?” in the blog titled, “Childhood Immunizations: Minimizing The Risks.”

Dr. Peterson writes, “The childhood immunization schedule when my daughters were born was far different from that in place today.  In the 1970s and early 1980s children were routinely given ten doses of vaccine prior to school entry, which protected them from seven different diseases.  Today’s children are expected to take 36 vaccine doses covering 14 different diseases by their sixth birthday!”

“Concerns exist today that were not present prior to 1980.  Over the past three decades there has been a twenty-fold increase in the incidence of autistic disorders.  Children following the recommended vaccines are injected with an enormous amount of aluminum, a toxic metal.  Early vaccination has been linked to an increased risk of childhood diabetes and asthma,” continued Peterson.

Dr. Peterson goes on to give several recommendations for concerned parents.
