Social Media Medicine Expert Dr. Veronica Anderson Features Guest Blog Series On Liposuction

Dr. Veronica Anderson, Founder and Host of web radio talk show, Wellness for the REAL World, recently featured guest blogger, Dr. Michelle Copeland, to provide some insight on Liposuction as part of a 4-part series on the subject.

NEW YORK, NY – July 12, 2011Dr. Veronica Anderson, social media medicine expert and Host of health and wellness web radio talk show, Wellness for the REAL World, recently began a 4-part blog series on Liposuction. For the first installment, Dr. Anderson welcomed Michelle Copeland, D.M.D, M.D as a guest blogger on her popular website, http://www.DrVeronica.com.  Dr. Copeland was asked to provide some insight for those considering the liposuction procedure in the blog titled, “The Skinny On Liposuction .”

Dr. Michelle Copeland writes, “Are you a good candidate for liposuction? The best Lipo candidates have good skin tone and good elasticity, which provides a smoother contour after the fat is removed. Therefore, age is a consideration, but I have had great success with patients of all ages. Liposuction is not a solution to a chronic weight problem and cannot help an obese person become svelte. It works best on patients who are of relatively average weight but need help with a problem area or have ten pounds that they are constantly losing and gaining.”

Some of the other questions addressed by Dr. Copeland include “So what is lipo?” “How is it performed?” and “Lipo or not to Lipo? That is the Question.”

“Reshaping your body is not as simple as visiting a beauty salon. Surgery is never 100 per cent risk-free, and for many procedures, the healing process takes patience and determination. My job is to help you determine which procedures will give you the results you want, and make you proud to show the world your arms, thighs, stomachs or hips, perhaps for the first time in your life,” concluded Dr. Copeland.
