Self-Hypnosis and Kinesiology Energy Expert, Linda Allred, Responds to Mayday Signals

Linda Allred, CEO of Linda Allred, muses on the origin of the may day distress signal and shares personal experiences of her own distress calls which inspired her to create a life devoted to helping others relieve distress.

Baton Rouge, LA- May 26, 2016 Linda Allred owner of Linda Allred, LLC, is a certified hypnotist and Kinesiology (Muscle Testing) Energy Expert. She has achieved great success in helping people lose weight, manage stress, make more money and run a successful business. Allred has posted a new article on her website entitled  Is Your Life Calling ‘Mayday! Mayday?’”

Linda AllredAllred writes, “We’re already almost halfway through the year. As we approach summer, some people become anxious when they think about the kids being out of school.” She continues adding, “Others stress out over wanting to slip into a swimsuit but they don’t feel comfortable because they have weight to lose.”

“As is my nature,” says Allred, “I began to think of all the people who could be served by learning how to minimize and eliminate stress in their lives. Then I began to think about how difficult it is for some people to ask for help, especially women.” She adds, “Since I work with so many women, that thought led me to wondering about the ‘mayday’ distress signal.”

Allred confesses she “knew nothing about the origin of the word.” “ I thought it might have had something to do with the month of May,” she adds.  According to Allred, she “did a little research.”  She shares her discovery. “The expression has nothing to do with the month of May. According to Wikipedia, “Mayday got its start as an international distress call in 1923. It was made official in 1948. It was the idea of Frederick Mockford, who was a senior radio officer at Croydon Airport in London. He came up with the idea for “mayday” because it sounded like the French word m’aider, which means, “Help me.”

Allred shares, “I’ve sent out many mayday distress signals in my life. Now, as a result of having been helped in many ways by many people, I have created a life I love devoted to responding to mayday cries with everything I’ve got. “Help me, help me,” is what I hear, not in so many words, from the women and men who attend my seminars and sign up for coaching sessions.”
