Seattle, Wash. – February 9, 2010 – Teens Against Distracted Driving (T.A.D.D.) is a movement created by car accident lawyers from around the country who are sick and tired of seeing our kids being killed by texting and driving, or by others texting and driving.  Spearheading the effort is Washington auto accident and personal injury lawyer, Jason Epstein. 

With his latest initiative and corresponding website, http://www.TeensAgainstDistractedDriving.com, Jason is urging teens across the country to be aware of the incredible dangers posed by texting and driving, one of the nation’s fastest growing causes of auto accidents.  Through the T.A.D.D website, teens can make the following pledge: 

“From here on out, I pledge to completely stop texting and using my cell phone while I am driving. I understand the dangers associated with these actions and will spread the word to my family and friends to help us put an end to the dangerous habit.” 

Each person who signs the pledge will receive a free T.A.D.D. awareness bracelet that they can wear to show their support for the cause.  

“In the upcoming weeks we will be launching our campaign to help educate individuals and do our part to put an end to texting behind the wheel and driving while distracted,” remarked Jason Epstein.  “We’re asking teens across the country to pledge to personally end driving distracted and spread the word.”
