Retirement Resources President, Dave Boike Posts His Annual Tax Scam Alert To Remind Clients And Readers To Be More Vigilant During The Holiday Season.

Retirement Resources President and Investment Advisor, Dave Boike, offers a word of caution during the holiday season when scammers get busier than ever trying to take advantage of the holiday gift-giving spirit.

Auburn Hills, MI – December 14, 2022 – Dave Boike, President of Retirement Resources and co-author of The Ultimate Success Guide with Brian Tracy published a new blog post on the company website entitled “Annual Holiday And Pre-Tax Scam Alert,” in which Mr. Boike also adds the link to the IRS site listing all the latest scams.

“During the holiday season,” Boike writes, “I like to remind my clients and readers to be very cautious and become hyper-alert to scams.” He continues, “Criminal scammers tend to step up their activity level when more people let their guard down and are in the holiday giving spirit. Generosity of spirit can quickly turn a loving act into something tragic.”

As Boike notes, “The IRS informs us that thousands of people have lost millions of dollars and their personal information to scams. This includes tax scams, Social Security scams, charitable scams and more.” He adds, “They inform us that scammers use every possible method to snag their victims. They use the regular mail, telephone, text, and email to set up individual, businesses, payroll, and tax professionals. They leave no stone unturned.”
