Orlando, Fla. – May 6, 2010 – Ricky Strain, real estate investor and founder of RS Investment Concepts, has co-written a book with Ron LeGrand and other leading real estate experts across the country.  The new book, to be published by CelebrityPress™, is called “The New Masters of Real Estate: Getting Deals Done in the New Economy.” 

Ricky was Director of Operations for a large home builder in the State of Florida 2005-2006 in a turnaround situation. He restructured, hired and trained a new group of people to accomplish the needed changes. There were significant improvements in quality and cost. 

In 2008 he decided to start up RS Investment Concepts to capitalize on the opportunities that were emerging in real estate and to help others do the same. He and his team are actively pursuing the acquisition of distressed properties.  This includes short sales, foreclosures, Bank owned properties, nonperforming bank assets, and commercial properties.

About Ricky A. Strain: 

Ricky began his career in manufacturing with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and a Professional Engineering License from the State of Indiana. He spent 25 years building, starting up and operating manufacturing plants throughout the US and Mexico. This included land acquisition, plant and equipment design and construction, and the hiring and training of personnel. 

In the 80’s he bought and sold single family residential properties as a Realtor and as an investor.

Ricky relocated with his family to Gainesville, Florida from Mexico in 2001, where he resides now.
