Financial Services Expert, Perminder Chohan, was recognized for his contribution to the book “Leo Learns About Life” with a Writer EXPY® Award

Surrey, BC –August 15, 2019 – Perminder Chohan, Financial Services Expert, was awarded a Writer EXPY® from the National Association of Experts, Writers and Speakers®. Chohan received the award due to his contribution to the book Leo Learns About Life. In this children’s anthology, Chohan teamed up with other successful professionals, including Jack Canfield, to compile a selection of short stories designed to teach children invaluable lessons that will benefit them throughout their lives.

The National Association of Experts, Writers and Speakers® was founded to honor experts for their contribution to education, enlightenment, and business. Chohan was invited to attend the 5^th Annual EXPY® Awards, in which three different award categories were presented: Writer, Speaker, and Media and Communications. The Association was pleased to highlight Chohan’s commitment to those core values and his willingness to share his knowledge with others through the written word with a Writer EXPY®.

Chohan’s short story in Leo Learns About Life is entitled “Leo Contributes To His Community,” and is designed to teach and inspire children to play an active role and give back to their communities.

Leo Learns About Life was published by CelebrityPress® and is currently available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble and other major online book retailers. A portion of the royalties earned from Leo Learns About Life will be given to Entrepreneur’s International Foundation, a not for profit organization dedicated to creating awareness for charitable causes.

About Perminder Chohan

Perminder started with Desjardins Financial Security Independent Network in 2009 and now, is one of the leading figures in the insurance industry. He is also the recipient of the Agency Builder Award by GAMA International Agency and the NRI Person of Year for Global Leader and Philanthropy and Success in Business at Parvasi Diwas, Bharat Samman Awards 2018 held by the NRI Institute at the House of Lords, United Kingdom.

Perminder has served as Rotary President and Director for the Surrey Board of Trade. He received an honourable mention by The Surrey Now-Leader for the Leader of the Year Award 2018.  Perminder has often been a guest on various media channels as well. In 2018, Perminder was chosen as a keynote speaker at the FORUM at the United Nations Headquarters in New York to address an exclusive leadership gathering on what he has been doing to push the finance industry forward and how to make a difference in the lives of others by giving back. In the same year, he was also invited to speak on the Time Square Today Show in New York and at the FOX Network.
