Orlando Cosmetic Surgeon, Dr. Roger Murray, MD Awarded Fellowship in Phlebology
Dr. Roger Murray, M.D., an Orlando based cosmetic surgeon, was one of forty physicians named as a “Fellow” in Phlebology by The College of Phlebology.
Orlando, Fla. –August 12, 2008 – Dr. Roger Murray, MD, Orlando-based cosmetic surgeon and expert in aesthetics and anti-aging, has recently been named a “Fellow” in Phlebology by The American College of Phlebology. Dr. Murray is one of only forty physicians throughout the United States to be awarded such an honor.
The American College of Phlebology describes the Fellows of the American College of Phlebology (FACPh) as being “recognized for their substantial commitment and contribution to the specialty of phlebology. Fellows of the American College of Phlebology are members who are unanimously elected by the ACP Board of Directors. These members actively publish text or journals relating to phlebology, teach at ACP educational conferences, and actively serve on the Board of Directors or a standing committee.”
According to the American Board of Phlebology website, phlebology is “the study of veins and venous diseases and disorders. Board Certified phlebologists have extensive knowledge of and training in the diagnosis and treatment of vein disorders and have met the standards of the American Board of Phlebology.”
Dr. Murray recently passed the board certifications administered by the American Board of Phlebology, and has been a leading physician in the field of phlebology and cosmetic surgery at The Murray Center in Orlando, Fla. Dr. Murray said, “I am extremely proud and honored to be named a fellow in phlebology, and I look forward to opportunity to lend my expertise in the field at various symposia and educational programs held by the College of Phlebology.”

About Dr. Roger Murray:
Dr. Roger Murray, M.D. is an Orlando, Fla. based cosmetic surgeon, specializing in minimally invasive cosmetic surgery and is an expert in scar minimization techniques, aesthetics and anti-aging. Roger Y. Murray, M.D. graduated from Medical University of South Carolina, after which he did an internship in Internal Medicine and residency in Family Practice.
