Milwaukee Wisconsin Dentist Tony Cigno Publishes New Article on Tween and Teen Dental Care

Tony Cigno, Wisconsin family dentist, shares how to ensure kids get proper pediatric dental care when they become tweens and teens.

Greenfield, WI — June 2, 2016 — Wisconsin Dentist Tony Cigno recently published a new article, “Pediatric Dental: Does Your Teenager Have a Dirty Mouth?!”

Dr. Tony CignoIn the article, Dr. Cigno starts off by sharing the frightening fact that dental decay is the most common chronic disease among teenagers ages 5 to 17, according to the CDC on pediatric dental care.

He adds, “Of course, this problem becomes even more likely in the actual teen years when teenagers are more likely to be attending – or not attending – their family dentistry appointments on their own.”

Dr. Cigno goes on to share some tips from his family dental practice that help teens take care of their teeth and help prevent future dental issues. Some of these include limiting soft drinks and juices, proper tooth defense in sports, and avoiding mouth piercings.
