Milwaukee Area Dentist Tony Cigno Publishes New Article About Dentistry Advances
Milwaukee area dentist Dr. Tony discusses recent improvements in dental treatments and dental care
Greenfield, WI — March 19, 2018 — Wisconsin Dentist Tony Cigno recently published an article titled, “New and Improved Dentistry Advances in Dental Care and Dental Treatments.”
Dentistry has made huge advances over the last century. As Dr. Cigno says, ‘Dentists are now able to do what would have been unthinkable 100 years ago.” He adds, “Not only is the impossible now possible as it relates to advances in dental procedures, the technology that comes along with these changes and advances makes for much safer and effective procedures all the way around.”
In the remainder of this article, Dr. Cigno shares the top 10 of these dental technology advances.
One of the specific advances Dr. Cigno expands on is dental sealants. As he says, “Dental sealants are a great, safe, way to keep those pesky sugars and bacteria out of hard to reach areas on kids’ molars. Sealants can be applied in no time, right in the dental office. This is a preventative for cavities and decay.”
Another he shares are power toothbrushes. Electric toothbrushes used to be considered one of the finer things in life. They do most of the brushing work for you, allowing you to brush well and effectively without brushing too hard—something that can be harmful to gums and teeth in the long run. Electric toothbrushes also help get into hard to reach places, preventing cavities in your adult molars.
