Don Lowry, Maine personal injury lawyer, has signed a publishing deal with CelebrityPress, a leading book publishing company, along with other leading legal experts to release “Protect and Defend: Proven Strategies from America’s Leading Attorneys to help you Protect and Defend Your Business, Family and Wealth.”

Portland, ME – May 8, 2012 – Personal injury attorney Don Lowry, of Lowry & Associates, has joined a select group of America’s leading attorneys to co-write the forthcoming book titled, “Protect and Defend: Proven Strategies from America’s Leading Attorneys to help you Protect and Defend Your Business, Family and Wealth.” Nick Nanton, Esq. along with business partner, JW Dicks, Esq., recently signed a publishing deal with each of these authors to contribute their expertise to the book, which will be released under their CelebrityPress™ label.

Don Lowry is a prominent member of the Maine trial bar who has been engaged in the practice of law for over 45 years.  Following graduation from Brown University Don served in the Navy as a destroyer and submarine officer before attending Harvard Law School.

In the early ‘80’s Don started a new firm, Lowry & Associates, concentrating in helping people who have been injured in accidents, and this firm continues with the same goal today. Don is a member of the American Bar Association, the Maine State Bar Association, the Cumberland Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice and the Maine Trial Lawyers Association.  He acts as a volunteer in Cumberland County District Court in representing victims of domestic violence.

The forthcoming book, Protect and Defend: Proven Strategies from America’s Leading Attorneys to help you Protect and Defend Your Business, Family and Wealth, will feature strategies from some of America’s leading legal minds to help businesses and families navigate the often cumbersome nature of the today’s legal system.  Some of the topics covered include how to keep your house from foreclosure, offering compromise with the IRS, veteran’s benefits, alcohol related cases, injury settlements, health insurance, asset protection for the middle class, and much more. The book is tentatively scheduled to be available in the summer of 2012.
