Jennifer Kauffman joined with DNA Films®, an Emmy® Award-winning film production studio, to serve as Executive Producer on the new documentary feature titled  “K9s For Warriors”

Boston, MA – March 29, 2018 – Jennifer Kauffman signed on as an Executive Producer in a new “Mission for Good” documentary feature film from DNA Films® tentatively titled “K9s For Warriors”. The film will focus on K9s For Warriors, an organization that brings together US Military Veterans and rescued shelter dogs, which go through weeks of training together as a unit, to save each other’s lives. Five-time Emmy Award winning Director Nick Nanton will direct this documentary about the incredible story behind the organization, K9s For Warriors.

As an Executive Producer, Jennifer Kauffman attended the principal filming of the documentary, met some of the warriors (men, women and dogs) and saw how K9s For Warriors is helping our service men and women to overcome PTSD and return to their communities to move onto the next successful chapter in their lives. “K9s For Warriors” began principal photography on location in January of 2018.

More About Jennifer Kauffman:

On April 15, 2013, Jennifer Kauffman was standing approximately 15 feet from the finish line bombing at the 117th Boston Marathon. 3 people died suddenly that day while 2 others lost their lives tragically in days and months later. At least 264 people were seriously injured from the bombings. Jennifer was one of those people. She literally felt shattered from the bombings and suffered from ear, neck, back, internal injuries and PTSD. Her injuries were ‘invisible’ as none of her major systems (cardiovascular, circulatory, respiratory, digestive, nervous, endocrine, skeletal, muscle and immune) were working properly as a result of the blast.

Jennifer has been determined to find a way to heal from her trauma naturally and to share her experience with others. Jennifer’s upcoming book titled Shattered: The Boston Marathon I Never Wanted to Run and Did! The Journey of healing naturally is about her inspirational and transformational story, which is expected to be released in June 2018. The k9forwarriors documentary is also expected to debut in June. Jennifer’s successful career includes owning and operating her own business, a consulting and coaching firm called The Results Group since 2007, as well as leadership roles at Scudder Investments, DST Output and State Street Bank. In 2017, Jennifer was inducted into the National Academy of Best-Selling Authors for her contributions in Jack Canfield’s best-selling book “Mastering The Art of Success”. In 2011, Jennifer was awarded the Stars 40 Under 40 award as an emerging leader in her community. Jennifer has received numerous awards throughout her career of helping people and business thrive.
