I Am a Force4Good Founder, Brenda Schubach Supports and Calls Attention to Vday.org and One Billion Rising

Founder and Executive Director of the human-interest organization I AM A FORCE4GOOD®, Brenda Schubach reports that wives, sisters, mothers, lovers and girlfriends have been or will be raped in their lifetimes and calls for an end to the violence against women and girls.

MILWAUKEE, WI – February 13, 2015 – Brenda Schubach, Founder and Executive Director of I Am a Force4Good, a human interest company creating opportunities for women around the world recently posted a new blog on her website entitled, “Just Stop It! The Violence Against Women and Girls Must End.” In the month of love an ugly truth takes the spotlight.

As Schubach writes “This world celebrates romantic love on Valentine’s Day and we celebrate Mother’s Day, yet “I in 3 women across the planet will be beaten or raped during her lifetime.” That means your mother, your sister, your wife or best friend will be raped.” She poses, “Where does love come into this picture?” And adds, “The violence must end!”

Schubach shares the mission of One Billion Rising, which was founded by playwright and activist Eve Ensler, and eagerly helps spread news of their activities. She writes, “I am a huge supporter of www.vday.org. This is the website for One Billion Rising, the largest global action to end violence against women and girls in human history.” According to Schubach’s blog, “This year marks the launch of its third year with One Billion Rising: Revolution, a new escalation that calls for a radical shift to end the global epidemic of abuse that women face worldwide.”

Schubach calls for action, writing, “I entreat you to join in whatever way you can. Visit the website. Let your voice be heard. Let’s expose a new consciousness of harmlessness and love until any other treatment toward any human being is considered unthinkable.”
