Health and Wellness Expert Dr. Veronica Anderson Discusses Importance of Teaching Kids About Sex

Dr. Veronica Anderson, Founder and Host of web radio talk show, Wellness for the Real World, a weekly resource for wellness of mind, body and spirit, discusses the importance of communicating with your kids about sex.

NEW YORK, NY – May 19, 2011Dr. Veronica Anderson, Founder and Host of health and wellness web radio talk show, Wellness for the Real World, recently published a blog on her website www.drveronica.com discussing her thoughts on the need for parents to communicate with kids about sex. Dr. Veronica explains her opinion in her blog, titled “Let’s Talk About Sex Baby, Let’s Talk About You And Me…”

Dr. Anderson recently held a show on the topic, called “Raising Kids To Have Healthy Sex.” She hosted two guests with opposite views on the subject.  “Holly Hill, best-selling author of Sugarbabe and Toyboy, feels very strongly that not only is it the parents’ responsibility to teach children about sex, but it is also their duty to provide the kids a safe venue to have the sex they are having,” writes Dr. Anderson.  “Holly Boyd, a member of a Christian organization, coach and author holds the main viewpoint that one should remain a virgin until they get married.”  The conversation was robust and very informative.

In the blog, Dr. Anderson writes, “I maintain that it is important for us, as parents, to guide our children into a comfortable sexual existence.  Even more so, they should know and understand the value of good, strong, solid, loving and respectful relationships – that translate into good, strong, solid, loving and respectful sex within those relationships.”

Wellness for the REAL World features information on developing a healthy and fit mind, body and spirit in today’s dynamic society. Dr. Anderson adds her easily understandable, fun-infused voice to the broad-audience discussion on today’s most popular medicines, alternative treatments, health policies and opinions of wellness – so that her listeners can benefit from truly vigorous life in the real world today.
