Health And Fitness Expert Dr. Veronica Anderson Features Guest Blogger On Subject of Sexual Abuse

Dr. Veronica Anderson, Founder and Host of web radio talk show, Wellness for the Real World, recently featured guest blogger, Josh Williams, to tackle the subject of Curing Sexual Abuse.

NEW YORK, NY – May 11, 2011 – Dr. Veronica Anderson, Founder and Host of health and wellness web radio talk show, Wellness for the Real World, recently welcomed Josh Williams to be a guest blogger on her popular website, http://www.DrVeronica.com.  Josh Williams was tapped to discuss the subject of Sexual Abuse in the blog titled, “Curing Sexual Abuse.”

Mr. Williams writes, “It is difficult enough for each of us to grow into a happy, productive adult with relationships that fulfill us personally and sexually. But children who were sexually abused have an even tougher path: they often face lifelong issues with intimacy, trust, shame and anger and are much more likely to become abusers themselves. Yet we as a society remain uncomfortable talking about the subject.”

Josh describes a recent interview that Dr. Veronica Anderson conducted on her web radio show, Wellness for the REAL World.  Dr. Veronica’s guest was Brian Beckstead, who was raised in a Mormon household, and was sexually abused by both his ex brother-in-law, as well as his doctor.

“Brian overcame his sexual abuse and he is now thriving. He speaks about his abuse and he helps other people through a rape crisis line. Through his website, Brian offers services to individuals from all over the country who need advice or someone to talk to,” Williams writes.
