Gabriela Humailo, Founder and President of the non-profit I CHOOSE – I AM NOT A VICTIM, Inspiring Mindset Coach and Best-Selling Author, acknowledges the passing of Ruth Bader Ginsburg and the impact her choices had on the lives of women and men around the world. 

ORLANDO, FL – September 30, 2020 – Gabriela Humailo, Founder and President of the non-profit, I CHOOSE – I AM NOT A VICTIM, and co-author of Think Big, with Brian Tracy, has posted a new article on her website entitled, “Intentional Living Requires Conscious Deliberate Choosing,” in which Gabriela focuses on the historic impact made by Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Gabriela begins with one of RBG’s most famous quotes, “Real change, enduring change, happens one step at a time.” Gabriela then states, “With the passing this month of America’s gender equality icon, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, I am inspired to focus on her awareness of the impact her choices had on society and to shed further light on the truth that wise choices, ideas, or solutions need time and results to become wise.”

 As Gabriela points out, “Ruth Bader Ginsburg clearly knew the importance of making conscious choices. She also knew that patience and persistence were required in helping others see their way to wise choices and being able to make important changes.” She acknowledges that, “While I did not grow up in the United States and was not aware of the role Mrs. Ginsburg played in paving the way for gender equality, I have subsequently become aware of the widespread and important influences her choices had in the fight for equality and equal rights for women and men.”

According to Gabriela, “It’s hard to imagine today that it wasn’t all that long ago that women in the United States didn’t have the right to open a bank account, have credit cards or a mortgage without a man’s signature.” She adds, “Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s work helped change that. As an article about RBG on npr.com states, “For more than a decade, until her first judicial appointment in 1980, she led the fight in the courts for gender equality. When she began her legal crusade, women were treated, by law, differently from men. Hundreds of state and federal laws restricted what women could do, barring them from jobs, rights, and even from jury service. “We don’t all live high-profile lives as did RBG.” writes Gabriela, adding, “However, every woman and man has the ability to make choices that will lead to a very satisfying life.  Choosing is active and must be done consciously and conscientiously to lead to the kind of life you want to live. Gabriela learned the “Life as a Volunteer” experience in 1990 from the ROTARY CLUB, Carmaux, France, where she was involved for two years as a translator for humanitarian actions in Romania. What members of the French Club did for those “unknown people” of her country marked her for life!

Gabriela lived and traveled in many countries in Europe, as well as in Nigeria, Africa, influencing the lives of those around her.

Gabriela graduated as a Licensed Economist in Finance, Bank, and Stock Market from Bogdan Voda University, Faculty of Economics Sciences, in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She collaborated for 19 years with ING Life Insurance Romania SA, and 11 years with ING Bank N.V. Amsterdam, Bucharest Branch, as an Owner and Business Manager of an ING Bank Franchise – the first banking franchises from Romania.

During 26 years of entrepreneurial experience, she built six companies in different areas, all starting from nothing, then developed and sold them.

The multiple experiences of working with thousands of people, both employees and business clients, combined the personal skills of coaching, communication, and training of sales agents with the managerial and leadership skills, and formed her as an excellent motivator and inspirational leader, knowing that any business grows through the people that work for it.

Gabriela is certified in Life and Business Coaching, and also is a Coach, Trainer, and Speaker Certified by John C. Maxwell.

She is a Best-Selling Author with Brian Tracy in his new book, THINK BIG, and is a certified member of The National Association of Experts, Writers, and Speakers in the United States.
