Tony Olson will team up with other leading IT professionals to release the new book, “On Thin Ice,” a collaboration of expert advice on the Information Technology industry

North Sioux City, SD – August 5, 2020 – Founder & President of D2 Worldwide, Tony Olson, recently signed a publishing deal to co-write the forthcoming book titled On Thin Ice, published by TechnologyPress^™. In addition to Olson’s expertise, the publication features content from other leading IT Consultants and Experts. The book will be released under TechnologyPress™, an imprint of CelebrityPress® LLC, a leading business book publisher that publishes books from ThoughtLeaders^® around the world.

On Thin Ice is tentatively scheduled for release in late fall of 2020.

Tony and the other authors have chosen to receive no royalties from the book, and to instead donate them to the St. Jude Foundation.

Tony’s servant-leader culture extends a helping hand to the community by providing books to elementary school kids who need them. The D2 “Books for Budding Brains” program has been in service for over ten years and has provided tens of thousands of kids with free books.

Prior to D2, Tony worked as the Vice President of Engineering and Product Development at Gateway Computer Company. Tony led the effort to design, test, configure, and deliver literally millions of award-winning desktop, notebook, server, and network-based products. One of the first P.C. companies to employ Human Factor Engineers, Tony helped Gateway pioneer the design of delightful customer experiences. They were so wonderful that customers were excited to see the cow-spotted box arrive on their doorstep.

Tony started his career at Zenith Data Systems as a designer of computer systems. Later, as Director of Engineering, Tony lead efforts that required government security clearance to design highly secure computer systems for branches of U.S. military.
