ATLANTA, GA, August 30, 2019: Founder and Owner of Oculus Plastic Surgery and Specialty Surgery Center, Harvey “Chip” Cole, III, MD, FACS posted a new blog on the Oculus website entitled, “Chip’s Tips On Post-Surgical Healing,” in which Dr. Cole tells readers how important it is to follow their surgeon’s protocol. 

As Dr. Cole establishes, “The healing process is exactly that, a process.” He continues adding, “Every single person has their own individual process. Some people like to be alone while healing. Others enjoy having company. Whatever process you prefer, honor it.” According to Dr. Cole, “Any kind of surgery must be taken seriously and the surgeon’s protocol for healing should be followed to the letter.”

Dr. Cole’s tips are his own, however he writes, “If you are considering a cosmetic procedure, please familiarize yourself with the following tips I share with all my patients and anyone considering surgery.”

The first, and most important tip according to Dr. Cole is: “If you’re preparing for surgery, plan on taking the maximum recommended time off. Healing is science and goes through defined stages.”
