Following the advice of his father, a restaurateur in Virginia Beach, in 1995 David Kassir sought an internship with a renowned regional investment firm, Wheat First Butcher & Singer. Later hired as an executive at the firm he specialized in corporate retirement plans. In 1997, Wheat First Butcher & Singer merged with First Union Securities, formerly Wachovia (now Wells Fargo Securities), where he was promoted to Vice President. Eager, however, to provide his clients with the best possible service, independent research and personalized money management in 2002 he founded his own investment firm, Georgetown Private Cliente’, working in cooperation with Bank of New York and Next Financial Group, Inc. In 2007 Georgetown Private Cliente entered into an agreement to buyout an established investment firm, Schafer Financial Services. Later that year Mr. Kassir purchased Sterling Capital Management.

In furtherance of our expansion in 2009 Georgetown Private Cliente entered into another agreement to buyout a renowned broker/dealer, Manna Financial Services Corporation, a distinguished investment firm since 1962. – Together we are now Manna Capital Management.
