Carine Coulm, Owner of Emiota, recently hit two Amazon.com best-seller lists with the new book, GameChangers 2nd Edition.
Paris, France – January 20, 2017 – Carine Coulm is creator of Belty Good Vibes, an apparel company combining fashion, fitness, and technology. About Carine Coulm:
Carine Coulm, a Belgium native and passionate entrepreneur, is the CEO & Co-founder of Belty, a high-end lifestyle belt that merges wellbeing, fashion and technology.
After receiving a degree in bioengineering and economics, Carine began her career in the laboratories of a renowned cosmetics giant. She then relocated to Paris where she embarked on a 10-year career in IT management and consulting. As a consultant, Carine specialized in change management, assisting companies to adopt new IT tools and services.
Understanding the importance of quality sleep, Carine co-founded a company for manufacturing and selling premium handmade silk stuffed duvets. The heat regulating and hypoallergenic qualities of these luxury products provide a superior sleep.
She also partnered with a former colleague as a Sales Manager for an IT company, which furthered her experience as an entrepreneur.
Family was the catalyst that drove Carine’s entrepreneurial spirit and direction. Shortly after the birth of her child, she decided she wanted to launch her very own company that combined her greatest passions of wellbeing, fashion and technology. Her vision was to combine technology and wellbeing into a unique wearable product.
Giving up her position in business management, she completed a Masters in Entrepreneurship at ESSEC Business School and CentraleSupélec. The company, named Emiota, was founded in July 2013; first as an ideas lab. The smart belt was an idea among others.
