Exercise Franchise SuperSlow Zone® at Silver Creek, San Jose Hosts Monthly “Wellness Morsels” Forum

SuperSlow Zone® at Silver Creek (San Jose) is proud to offer their second monthly health and wellness seminar series for the San Jose community called “Wellness Morsels.”

San Jose, Calif. – April 16, 2009SuperSlow Zone® at Silver Creek (San Jose) is proud to announce the second of a new monthly forum series at their facility, to facilitate a community discussion on health and wellness.  The forum will be called “Wellness Morsels,” as topics will be presented in manageable “morsels,” giving the attendee a quick overview and insights on several different health related topics of interest.

“We’re grateful to have talented, passionate speakers who are focused on wellness speaking on behalf of the general public.  It’s a wonderful way to offer free, interactive information from experts in the field to those in our community,” remarked Marie Ortiz, owner of SuperSlow Zone® at Silver Creek.

With the goal of expanding wellness information and exposure throughout the community, “Wellness Morsels” is a free series that provides a monthly avenue for the community to learn more from wellness experts in the South Bay and beyond.  With so many aspects to one’s wellness, such as diet, exercise, the myriad of medical practices and approaches to stress reduction, it can sometimes be difficult for those interested in improving their wellness to process all of the information in an accurate and beneficial way.

The first forum in March featured experts Dr. Vicki Hill, who spoke on enhancing your health with network chiropractic care, and Tonja Harvey who provided ways to permanently change habits for a lifetime of health.

On Saturday, April 25th, the second of these free forums will host Dr. Kevin Imai, of Aloha Chiropractic, speaking on “The 100 Year Lifestyle,” and Gretchen Suess, A.R.N.P., speaking on “Vitamin Supplements – Are They Really Required?”

“The 100 Year Lifestyle is something everyone should be planning for – in all aspects in their lives.  I’m very interested to hear Dr. Imai speak on this subject!” remarked Marie Ortiz.  “Also, there’s so much information out there about the value of nutritional supplements.  I’m grateful Ms. Suess is going to come speak and help us understand just what the truth is!” Ortiz continued.

The Wellness Morsels Forum will take place from 1-2:30pm at the SuperSlow Zone® at Silver Creek location.  From 1-1:30pm, SuperSlow Zone® will let attendees try out the SuperSlow® method and have any questions answered about the SuperSlow® strength training protocol.  The guest expert speakers will follow immediately at 1:30pm, and speak for approximately one hour.
