Jean-Marc Pampellonne is the Managing Director of Atlantec, an MSP that helps his clients use Microsoft technologies to optimise business efficiency while improving their security posture.
Born and educated in the UK, Jean-Marc grew up in an era where communication via video phones, flying cars, and trips to Mars was a concept limited to science fiction. OK, so we’re not there quite yet, but still, it was amazing to think of how else technology could enhance the lives of every human! Fast forward through the 80s and a Commodore 64, Amstrad PC and ZX Sinclair spectrum and Amiga 2000, Jean-Marc went on to graduate from the University of East London in 1996 with a BSc (Hons) degree in Distributed Information Systems. He began his career supporting the IT needs of the Department of Health and the Department of Social Security until 2005 when he set up his company and became a freelance consultant.
Jean-Marc still lives in London with his wife and two children, and continues to work through his company Atlantec, expertly designing and delivering innovative solutions to his customers. Microsoft has also published a case study where he championed the rollout and adoption of new technologies at a local school to better engage students with anytime, anywhere learning. He has contributed key technical insights to support the strategy and planning, and the resolution of challenges arising from poorly implemented IT systems for a number of globally-recognised clients (large and small), such as The Ministry of Justice, Visa, Bank of America, BNP Paribas and Oxfam International as well as the SMBs with fewer than ten staff.
Jean-Marc is passionate about equipping small businesses with the right tools, knowledge, and support they need to thrive in the digital world.
