Sheri Hays will team up with other leading ThoughtLeaders® to release a new children’s book, Leo Learns About Life, which will teach inspiring lessons for adolescents to use as they learn and grow throughout life.

Duluth, GA – August 3, 2018 – Early Childhood Education Specialist, Sheri Hays, recently signed a publishing deal to co-write the forthcoming book titled, Leo Learns About Life, published by CelebrityPress^® LLC.

The new book is a compilation of the contributors’ favorite lessons for success, which have been turned into children’s fables starring Leo the dog. Sheri Hays will also appear as a character in the book to teach Leo about helping others. These lessons are intended to encourage and guide children towards success throughout their lives.

Leo Learns About Life is tentatively scheduled for release in late Fall 2018.

A portion of the royalties earned from Leo Learns About Life will be donated to Entrepreneur’s International Foundation, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to creating awareness for charitable causes.

Sheri Hays was selected to be in the book because of her own success and her commitment to educate and inspire our future generations. Her achievements throughout life makes her an asset to the publication and her fable will surely benefit future readers.

About Sheri Hays

Sheri Hays began working with children at an early age.  In college she worked at a day care center during the school year, and children’s camps during the summer.  This led her to pursue her Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education at Berry College.  Afterwards, she enjoyed teaching Kindergarten for five years.

With a daughter on the way and her husband’s law firm expanding, in 2000 she decided to focus on raising her child and working as the Assistant Director of Community Outreach at the Law offices of Gary Martin Hays and Associates.  There she helped to raise money and awareness for charities including Relay for Life, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Dream House for Medically Fragile Children, and Families 4 Families.  They have given away 1000 bicycle helmets and 16 college scholarships.

After her twin daughters were born in 2006, she helped her husband begin the non-profit organization Keep Georgia Safe. It’s mission is to provide safety education and crime prevention training in Georgia.  Keep Georgia Safe has trained over 80 state and local law enforcement officers in CART (Child Abduction Response Teams) so our first responders will know what to do in the event a child is abducted in Georgia.  It has also provided training for instructor certification for dozens of officers, teachers, and volunteers in the radKids curriculum. After their certification, these instructors have taught this safety curriculum to hundreds of children.

Today, Sheri continues to raise her three beautiful daughters and to serve her community.  In her spare time she enjoys teaching children at church, volunteering in the elementary school library, and writing children’s books.

Sheri, Gary, and their three daughters reside in Atlanta, Georgia.
