Dr. Karen Hardy is joining with DNA Films®, an Emmy® Award-winning film production studio, to serve as a Producer on the new documentary feature titled “K9s For Warriors”

Washington, DC – December 27, 2017 – Dr. Karen Hardy signed on as a Co-Producer in a new “Mission for Good” documentary feature film from DNA Films® tentatively titled “K9s For Warriors”. The film will focus on K9s For Warriors, an organization that brings together US Military Veterans and rescued shelter dogs, which go through weeks of training together as a unit, to save each other’s lives. Five-time Emmy Award winning Director Nick Nanton will direct this documentary about the incredible story behind the organization, K9s For Warriors.

As a Producer, Dr. Karen Hardy will attend the principal filming of the documentary, and see how K9s For Warriors is helping our service men and women to overcome PTSD and return to their communities to move onto the next successful chapter in their lives. “K9s For Warriors” will begin principal photography on location in January of 2018.

Dr. Hardy is no stranger to the anthem “Mission for Good”- having spent more than 30 years in the public service and studying research in the area of organizational leadership. “As a public servant, it’s all about serving others and supporting a Mission that touches the lives of many people,” she says. “I am hoping that the message in this film regarding having a ‘Mission for Good’ inspires others to invest in a purpose bigger than themselves,” she adds. “From a business perspective, organizations should certainly invest in good risk management practices and education to help protect their winning Missions.”
