Dr. Sabrina Scott turns her thoughts to the inner principles and codes that guide individuals personally and professionally and encourages anyone making the commitment to work with a financial advisor to find one that aligns with his or her code of ethics.

DECATUR, GA, January 7, 2020: Dr. Sabrina Scott, co-founder of Red Feather Financial, has posted a new blog on the firm’s website entitled “A Personal Credo Guides You To Professionals Who Live By The Same Credo..” Dr. Scott refers to her guiding principles and encourages readers to define their own.

Sabrina Scott“In this month’s article,” says Dr. Scott, “I wrote about a ‘fairness principal’ my sister and I adopted early in life.” She continues, “As a registered investment advisor representative (IAR), I am legally bound by a fiduciary code that obligates me to make recommendations that are in my clients’ best interests. I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

“In my opinion,” writes Dr. Scott, “there is nothing worse than living with a sense of guilt lurking under the surface all the time.” She goes on to say, “Now, I know there are those of you out there reading this who have been thinking about, maybe even talking about hiring a financial planner to help guide you to a comfortable retirement.” She emphasizes, “Yet, you still haven’t done it.” She adds, “I urge you to take the step as soon as possible. And, when you go about looking for someone to work with you, allow your own personal credo to guide you to someone who is on the same moral and ethical page.” According to Dr. Scott, “Moral and ethical strength are the values you want most in the person you are trusting to help you protect your financial health and well-being.”

About Dr. Sabrina Scott

Sabrina Scott learned about Veterans Benefits and Medicaid when her parents sought legal services for long-term care. Confident she could find ways to preserve her family’s resources and still get access to Government Assistance, Sabrina felt there should be more options than relying on welfare. As a result, Dr. Scott became an investment advisor representative who can make recommendations regarding securities and became licensed in insurance as well. She co-founded Red Feather Financial with Victoria Collier to help those who want to have a plan in place in order not to outlive their resources and who do not want to be a burden to their children.
