Oscar Diaz will team up with other leading IT professionals to release the new book, “On Thin Ice,” a collaboration of expert advice on the Information Technology industry

Calgary, Alberta – August 25, 2020 – CEO of Tecbound Technology, Oscar Diaz, recently signed a publishing deal to co-write the forthcoming book titled On Thin Ice, published by TechnologyPress^™. In addition to Diaz’s expertise, the publication features content from other leading IT Consultants and Experts. The book will be released under TechnologyPress™, an imprint of CelebrityPress® LLC, a leading business book publisher that publishes books from ThoughtLeaders^® around the world.

On Thin Ice is tentatively scheduled for release in late fall of 2020.

Oscar and the other authors have chosen to receive no royalties from the book, and to instead donate them to the St. Jude Foundation.

Oscar Diaz was selected to be an author due to his willingness to share his vast knowledge about the IT industry. His professional expertise makes him an asset to the publication and will surely benefit a wide range of readers.

About Oscar

Oscar Diaz has 20 years of experience in the IT industry.  Oscar studied Information Technology Engineering at UNITEC http://www.unitec.edu.ve/. During his five year program, he worked as a Coding Instructor and participated in several university programs to attract new students to the faculty.

After graduating, Oscar started working in the Telecommunication Industry at Digitel Corp (www.digitel.com.ve). His first position at Digitel was as a System Administrator, where he had several servers under his responsibility, including the email system that supported 3000 users. In the next five years, Oscar demonstrated he was willing to take on new challenges and responsibilities; this allowed him to climb the organizational ladder and earn a management position where he was in charge of the server infrastructure running on Microsoft products (200+ servers and 10+ engineers team under his direction). After that, Oscar moved to the position of Application Manager, where he was in charge of (a)  Business Intelligence, (b) Web Application Development, and (c) Customer Liaison Units (where he had 20+ engineers, business analysts and team leads under his supervision).

After ten years working in the Enterprise world and seeing the opportunity of bringing Enterprise IT practices to small and medium-sized businesses, Oscar founded Tecbound Technology in 2011. The goal of the company was to bring quality IT service to business owners and help them to navigate the challenges of using IT in their business. Tecbound has grown ever since and now has a presence in Calgary, Vancouver, and Latin America.

Oscar sponsors several children through not-for-profit organizations like World Vision and Christians Children’s Fund, and has a passion for helping kids to get involved in sports activities to promote family values, respect for others and encourage them to become the best they can be.
