Scottsdale, AZ. — March 16, 2016 — Best-selling author, speaker, and entrepreneur Susan Sly recently published a new article, “Leadership Development: What Does It Mean to Be a Leader? Are Leaders Born or Made? Part 1.” In the article, Susan describes the long-standing debate over the leaders born or made question, specifically that nearly every corner of society asks, “What does it mean to be a leader? What are leadership skills? Is leadership development a real possibility or is leadership something that can’t really be taught?”
Susan goes on to explain that – since this issue is so prevalent – these are questions anyone interested in professional development or personal development must explore as well.
Susan then outlines characteristics common to leaders and prepares the reader for the next article in the sequence, saying, “The next part of the equation – are leaders born or made and what does this mean for leadership development – is a little trickier. We will explore the “Are leaders born?” question next.”
