Amy has been involved with NAWBO for five years as the Program Chair, a Board member and the Awards Chair. Amy is on the Board of Directors, the Mentoring Committee and the Networking Committee of the Canisius College Women’s Business Center. Amy is also on the Board of Directors and serves on the Mentoring Committee and as a Mentor with the University of Buffalo’s Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership. This year, Amy received the Women of Influence Award from Business First. Amy is a member of the National Speakers Association and judges DECA competitions at the state level. In the past, Amy has served as the convener of the Amherst Task Force for Healthy Communities, as a member of the Advisory Board of the Small Business Council, and as a Board of Directors member of the Amherst Chamber of Commerce. Amy was recognized as Volunteer of the Year by the Amherst Chamber in 2005. 

Amy balances her career and community service with being the mother of an eighteen-year-old daughter and thirteen-year-old twin sons.
