Dr. Carmella Montez Knoernschild will team up with other leading ThoughtLeaders® to release a new children’s book, Leo Learns About Life, which will teach inspiring lessons for adolescents to use as they learn and grow throughout life.

Russellville, AR- August, 9 2018 – Orthodontist, Dr. Carmella Montez Knoernschild (Dr. K), recently signed a publishing deal to co-write the forthcoming book titled, Leo Learns About Life, published by CelebrityPress^® LLC.

The new book is a compilation of the contributors’ favorite lessons for success, which have been turned into children’s fables starring Leo the dog. Dr. K will also appear as a character in the book to teach Leo about keeping up appearances. These lessons are intended to encourage and guide children towards success throughout their lives.

Leo Learns About Life is tentatively scheduled for release in late Fall 2018.

A portion of the royalties earned from Leo Learns About Life will be donated to Entrepreneur’s International Foundation, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to creating awareness for charitable causes.

About Dr. Carmella Montez Knoernschild

One of the first female Orthodontists in Arkansas, Dr. Carmella Montez Knoernschild (Dr. K) earned her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Orthodontics in 1990 from Boston University. She was inducted into the university’s honorary dental society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Dr. K is the recipient of the Arkansas State Dental Association’s “New Dentist of the Year” award.  She served as technical advisor for the American Association of Orthodontist’s video, “A Smile That’s Good for Life”.  Dr. K became a certified Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics in 2003. She is an active member of many professional and community associations such as: President, Arkansas Association of Orthodontists; The Southwestern Society of Orthodontists; The American Association of Orthodontists; The University of Arkansas Alumni Association; The Russellville Area Chamber of Commerce. Dr. K is enthusiastic about motivating young people. She sponsors various local youth sporting events and serves as a motivational speaker.

Dr. Knoernschild and her husband, Doug, along with their beautiful girls, Ciarra and Isabella, reside near Lamar and attend New Life Church in Russellville, Arkansas.
