Brian Raleigh: Helping You Hit A Home Run In Retirement
Cary, NC – June 22, 2012 – “I had a great family; we just didn’t grow up with luxuries.” That’s one of the reasons Brian Raleigh is now so interested in helping other people make money – and more importantly, keep it.
When the opportunity arose to jump into the financial services industry, Brian didn’t hesitate. He is so secure in his decision to help others reach financial freedom that he has it down to a date – Nov. 30, 1995 – when he got licensed.
After spending more than eight years as an agent for a Fortune 500 company, where he often ranked in the top 1% of the advisors, he formed his own firm in 2004, TruWealth Strategies in Cary, NC.
The company focuses on not just accumulation, but also wealth preservation strategies for individuals, families, and businesses. Brian admits it might sound corny, but he is all about the relationship and spends countless hours with his clients.
“You have to hope for the best, but plan for the worst,” he cautioned. It breaks his heart to see people who have spent 30 to 40 years of their life working, then have to move back their retirement, because they lost everything in the market. “I saw way too much of that in 2002 and again in 2008.”
Brian is always looking for new ways to save on taxes and increase retirement income. People often ask why they haven’t heard about some of these strategies, and he simply replies, “Well, maybe you just haven’t met with the right advisor.”
TruWealth focuses on working with retirees and people in the retirement red zone (5 years or less until they retire). His focus is financial preservation and making sure the client never runs out of money.
In addition to keeping his clients satisfied, Brian’s proud to be finishing up a book. Keeping with his sports background, the book is titled, “Rounding Third and Heading for Home.” It discusses mistakes people can’t afford to make when they retire. He also reveals strategies on how to lower taxes, manage market risks, and create a consistent income stream in retirement that never runs out!
