ATLANTA, GA, September 18, 2019: Founder and Owner of Oculus Plastic Surgery and Specialty Surgery Center, Harvey “Chip” Cole, III, MD, FACS posted a new blog on the Oculus website entitled, “A Quiet Moment Of Grace And Gratitude,” in which Dr. Cole points out the importance of friends and family and reflection. 

Dr. Cole states, “The kids are back in school and the impending fall season is on its way.” He continues adding, “This transition between summer and fall makes me think of the very fleeting nature of time. I remember the joy I felt when I used to take my kids to school and shuttle them around town to different events before they were able to provide their own transportation. Autumn is the season where we all get to contemplate the various “autumns of our lives”.”

As Dr. Cole points out, “I am faced with the effects of time on the faces of my family, my patients and myself on a daily basis. I’m probably more aware of this than most people due to the nature of my work.” He adds, “Because of my work I am also gratefully aware of the importance of family connection to our well-being.”

“The sweet lull between summer and the busier fall/winter season,” says Dr. Cole, “is a great time to think of our connections with others. Family, friends, neighbors, the people in our lives whom we love and care for and make us want to look and feel and do our very best.”
